Meet Cara Murphy
Makeup artist. Fine line tattooist. Multi-business owner in her early twenties. Doesn't take no for an answer.
MagherafeltFrom first brush to full studio
It started with a makeup brush and a decision: this was it. What followed was a rise that most artists take a decade to manage: over 500 faces, a client list that includes Instagram and TikTok influencers, and a reputation across Mid Ulster for makeup that lasts and photographs like a dream.
Then she added a tattoo machine to her kit. Over 300 tattoos later, she's recognised as one of Northern Ireland's best fine line specialists — botanical pieces, animal portraits, spine and rib work, you name it.
Today she runs it all from her own studio at 1 Broad Street, Magherafelt, open seven days a week.
